I was so looking forward to the wedding day of Sophie and Oliver, as they quickly became very dear to my heart. We had a little get-to-know-each-other shoot 1 month prior so they can be more relaxed on their big day and a little less shy in front of the camera. I loved how easy-going they both were. It made everyone around them also feel relaxed and happy about spending the day together. Although we were a little nervous before the ceremony because it started pouring and the ceremony was going to be outside (with no backup plan). Fortunately, the moment Sophie walked down the aisle with her dad, the sky cleared up.
And it was the most amazing ceremony with the most breathtaking view ever. A few tears of joy were shed and after saying the I DO’s and exchanging the rings, it got dark again. What a timing! The weather was definitely on their side that day.
Also, St. Johann im Pongau is a very famous ski resort and who’d have thought it is also perfect for a summer wedding. If you love modern weddings with a traditional touch then St.Johann is perfect for you. There are several hotels or “Almhütten” that offer wedding packages.
Enough said – enjoy the pictures!
